Pentecost! What is it? It is what began when Jesus ascended through the gates of glory. He left the door open and a strong drought began blowing through, a mighty rushing wind, in fact. On the day of Pentecost in Jerusalem it blew away the stale air of musty religious tradition. They needed no air conditioner in the Upper Room. It was filled with the freshness of resurrection springtime. (Acts 2)
