I am so much more about focusing on the incredible reality of The Father’s love and goodness that I rarely ever talk about the opposite. However, the raw passion in Philip’s voice for the lost gripped me, and I felt impressed to share this video.
Remember: God’s love and mercy are extraordinarily more powerful than anything described here, and His love and mercy is your’s through Jesus whenever you so choose.
You can drive people into the Kingdom with fear, but you can’t keep them there because there’s no fear in love, and perfect love cast out fear. So you can guilt people into the Kingdom, but you can’t keep them there with guilt because as soon as they come into the Kingdom there’s no guilt there.
It’s hard to sustain with fear what was meant to be sustained with love.
